In occasione dei trent’anni della celebre cerimonia degli ADG Awards, sono state ufficializzate tutte le nomination principali nella categoria che celebra, sia nel comparto cinematografico che in quello televisivo, le migliori scenografie della stagione cinematografica. Un riconoscimento molto importante sia perché permette di comprendere quale sia il posizionamento della Gilda degli scenografi, sia perché anticipa, di fatto, anche il risultato agli Oscar 2026 come nelle principali Gilde relative alle categorie tecniche; ricordiamo che gli ADG Awards si avvalgono di 13 categorie differenti, di cui sei per i film, dunque il risultato di un determinato lungometraggio vincente non comporta immediatamente un posizionamento di favore agli Oscar, per quanto denota un possibile risultato che potrebbe essere eseguito anche nella regina delle manifestazioni cinematografiche, di cui non conosciamo ancora la cinquina finale nella categoria delle migliori scenografie.
